Mumbai/India: The Bangladesh Captain, Shakib Al Hasan, known for his sportsmanship has blasted Afghanistan Captain for not invoking ‘Time Out’ rule against Maxwell.
Shakib has posted a long post on his Facebook account and its short summary, “We recently invoked the time-out rule, and we received support from the cricket fraternity, including the Sri Lankan Cricket Board. When the umpire didn’t give out to a batsman on my bowling last year, I kicked stumps. Since then, the umpire always gives out on my bowling, even if the ball is a wide or No-Ball and this is the kind of respect I have on the Cricket field. AFG lost the match because of lack of awareness on the field. AFG would have easily won the match if they had used the Time-out rule against Maxwell, who had wasted so much time due to cramps.”
