As the political debate about the Article 370 is again making headlines but this time in a bizarre fashion where National Conference leader Omar Abdullah wants to give special status to Rahul Gandhi’s speeches.
When asked why he wanted to give special status to Rahul Gandhi’s speeches, “Article 370 is having special provision in our Constitution and we want to utilize this special power not for J&K but for a very special person also. Rahul Gandhi’s speeches are special because everyone likes his speeches”, Omar Abdullah replied
“Every time he speaks, social media (Twitter, FB and WhatsApp) is flooded with jokes about his speeches. In these stress time, Rahul is giving us laugh and that’s the reason I want to give him special status”, Omar added further.
Rahul Gandhi yet to react on the recent development but sources have confirmed that Congress party is happy with Omar Abdullah’s proposal.
“If all goes well we might demand separate version (Urdu language) of Rahul Gandhi’s speeches, like we have demanded separate Prime Minister for J&K, to make sure that Rahul’s Mann ki Baat reaches to entire Kashmir valley”, Omar Abdullah explained his plan if his party wins Lok Sabha election.
