Extreme Summer in Jammu: A Man Cooked Rajma Chawal in Sunlight To Save His Gas Cylinder

Jammu: As the Temperature in Jammu city has been rising and people are feeling sunlight like a hot furnace but people of Jammu has utilised this extreme Summer to cook their food and saving their Gas cylinders.

“The traditional meal of J&K, Rajma Chawal, always cooked in Pressure Cooker and we need at least 5-6 whistles of the Cooker to make the Rajma-Beans soft and delicious. In this process, lot of Gas is being utilised but thank God we have 44 degree Temperature outside and I thought of cooking the Rajma in this extreme Sunlight”, Gullu Nanda explained his innovation to StupidNews.

Now lot of people are using this technique of cooking Rajma Chawal in the extreme sunlight. As per the survey conducted by StupidNews, People are keeping the Rajma in a big bowl under the Sunlight for 3-4 mins, it starts boiling and beans became so soft that it is ready for Tadka immediately. And for rice, it usually took 1-2 min under the sunlight and all thanks to extreme Summer in the Jammu and its neighbouring districts like Samba, Kathua and Udhampur.

Now reports are coming that Gullu Nanda wants to apply for the patency of this technique because he was the first man to Cook Rajma Chawal under the Sunlight. Also, he is going to meet with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to give him idea of using extreme Sunlight not for cooking Rajma Chawal but to give harsh Punishment to Terrorist Sympathisers who were arrested during the Operation Sindoor. Gullu’s idea is to keep Overground Worker in the Sunlight just for 5-10 mins and they will reveal all important details to Security agencies.
